CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION?
If you wish to reserve in April, May, June, September or October, you may call and make a reservation anytime. If you wish to reserve a site in July or August, you may do so if you are staying for 6 or more nights. For shorter stays in July and August you may reserve the day before arrival. We have a couple of small sites - if you have a camper van, truck camper etc. you may book a shorter stay in advance on one of these sites if they are available.

WHAT IS THE LOCK FEE?
You may guarantee yourself a specific site (if you have a favourite) for $25 by paying the lock fee. This guarantees that you will not be moved from one site to another. If you do not pay the lock fee, you could be moved to a site different from the one you chose when you make the reservation. Occasionally we will move bookings around in order to accommodate more campers, but you will still be guaranteed a site that will fit your unit.

HOW DO I GET A SEASONAL SITE?
Occasionally we may have a seasonal site available, although they are rare. Normally the only way to get a seasonal site is to buy a trailer already situated on a site. We have both new and used units available or you can order a new General Coach trailer of your choice. Please check out our Trailer for Sale page.
DO YOU ALLOW TENTING?
Yes, we allow tenting, but we do not have tenting only sites. You may be situated beside trailers or motorhomes.
DO YOU RENT BOATS?
We only rent canoes. If you wish to rent a boat, there is a marina within 2 km from of us that does - Blue Beacon Marina
HOW BIG OF A BOAT DO YOU ACCOMMODATE?
The maximum size boat we can accommodate is 24'-26' feet. Anything bigger and you will have to keep it at another nearby marina.
WHERE CAN I FISH?
There is a fishing dock at the lake which is available for use all season or you may rent a canoe and head out on the lake. Fishing is also allowed on the docks in the canals once bass season opens.
DO YOU HAVE A BEACH?
No, we do not have very good lake swimming, but we do have a heated swimming pool and there are a couple of nice public beaches nearby. People (and dogs) do swim from the fishing dock area, but there is some boat traffic and a slight current so it is not recommended for young children. If you have a boat, there is also nice swimming out at an island on the lake.
WHAT IS THE POLICY FOR SEASONAL CAMPERS UPGRADING THEIR TRAILER?
When existing seasonal campers wish to upgrade their trailer it must be dealt through the Hammock Office.
Any new 12’ or 14’ wide trailers must be purchased through Hammock Harbour, as we are a dealer for General Coach trailers.
Other trailers may be purchased from one of our partners. Purchasing from some place other than the Hammock or one of our partners, will result in a pad fee.
